Weekly Wrap Up 15.11.15

It has been quite quiet this week. I haven't had any book post and I haven't been able to read that much as I have had 2 parents evenings that have left me really tired.

Weekly Wrap Up 8.11.15

Wow what a busy week! It feels like I haven't even had a half term now! So I have been back and checked how many books I have been reading since I have been back at school this year, as sometimes I think its easy to lose count and think you haven't read anything when you work full time. So here it is below.

September: 6 Books including 3 children's and 1 audio book. 
October: 6 books, including 2 colouring books and 2 children's books. 
November so far: 1 audio book

When I see the stats above I don't actually feel too bad about it and considering it is now the 8th November and I have nearly finished a book I think its quite good.

Weekly wrap up - 1.11.15

I honestly cannot believe we are now in November, this year has zoomed by, I cannot wait until December though, I am off on my summer holiday as I never had one in the summer so this is something that can't come soon enough as far as I am concerned! 

It has been half term this week and what a week it has been, I began really poorly with a dreadful cold. It's always the way when I stop work the colds tend to come out! I have been catching up with friends this been but also made sure I have had some time to relax and read. I also went and grabbed myself a new colouring book - not that I have finished the others! I bought Secret Garden, this is a book that I have been wanting for age and I keep seeing it but never got round to actually getting it. This was the week I decided to, I also bought some new gel pens and I thought I would give these ago to colour in with.

Weekly Wrap Up 25.10.15

This week was the last week before half term and I am so pleased. It has been a really busy half term and I have been looking forward to chilling. I have a few things planned for the following week but I am also hoping to get a lot of reading time in.

Weekly wrap up 18/10/15

This week has been another manic one (when is it never?) I have had quite a lot of personal family issues going on and so it has been a relatively slow reading week, however yesterday I participated in Dewey's 24 hours read-a-thon, this is actually still going to make sure you check out my post later today to see how I got on. You can also check out any mini challenges I managed to do on the previous post. 

Next week is the last week at school before half term so I am really looking forward to that, I will have a little work I need to catch up on, but I will be spending most of the time doing a bit of reading - finally! I also have a holiday coming up in December so I am planning to get a lot read the too.

I have been listening to an audio book - Can you keep a secret by Sophie Kinsella and I absolutely love it, I read the book a few years ago so it was nice to get back in that world with Emma.

Weekly wrap up - 13.9.15

Sorry that this post is a little later than usual, I went away and have only just had time to post it. This week has been my first week back at school and it has been very successful. I haven't received any books for review this week, this has allowed me to think about which books I need to read and review as quick as possible. I always find it hard when back at school to read a book quickly. This weekend though I have managed to start and finish one, I also listened to an audio book, so I have been very proud of myself.

I cannot believe that the summer holidays are now over and I am back to school. I have been disappointed with my reading this summer and the last week. I am going to be making a constant effort to make sure I continue to read a lot while I am back at school. I have begun listing to an audio book on the way to school as my journey is a little longer now so hopefully I will finish that soon.

Weekly Wrap Up - 30.8.15

The weather this week has been dreadful! This has given me some reading time as I was unable to do anything out in the garden this week, I did also have a wedding to go to though, which made me loose a bit of reading time. I am a little sad too as the summer holidays have whizzed by and next week I am back at school! I thought I would do a wrap up of all the books I have read over the summer - not as many as I had of hoped. 

It is an exciting time going back to school though as I am at a new school, I think this will make the weeks go so quick as I am learning all the time again, I cannot wait for my holiday in December, I am hoping this hurry's up. :)

So I read 12 books over the summer, I don't think that is that bad, I also have a few days still off the beginning of next week so hopefully I will be able to up that amount. Considering I have had to move home and had 2 weddings to attend, which have been longer than the day. I think I managed to fit quite a few in.

Weekly Wrap Up - 16.8.15

This has been the first week in my new house so it has been very exciting. I have been lucky enough to receive some wonderful book post since I have been here that is certainly going to have me stuck in for ages! I have also been to a wedding so their was no let up on activities! Although I have been on holiday for almost 3 weeks, I felt that I haven't actually just stopped and had some time to myself! Weekly Wrap Up - 9.8.15

I picked up the keys to my new house on Monday and I have spent the rest of the week packing boxes and clearing out. We have only been in this property for 2 years but I can't believe the amount of stuff we seem to have accumulated! I have also tried to do a bit of reading, but to be honest I have been so shattered in the evenings I have just fallen asleep! I have though used this time to do some colouring in my new adult colouring books. You can see these reviews soon on the blog.

The last few weeks have been pretty stressful, it became apparent that we were going to have to move home soon, due to our current landlord wanting to sell the property. It is not something we want to buy so decided to try and find something asap for us to try and move in during the summer holidays. The week has been a stressful one, not with work, thankfully for once but with house hunting. We are going to be moving house at some point and I am hoping it happens in the summer holidays so I have time to do it.
